Add in the fact that the Collinsworth name adds a little more star power for recruiting purposes, along with Hunter, Robinson, and Bongiovi. I would guess that the only way Collinsworth is not returning is if he decides he does not want to.

BTW, did anyone else notice at the end of the BYU game clip how much taller Cris is than Austin. Kind of unusual to see a Dad that much taller than his son. On paper there is supposed to be a 4" difference but in that video it looked like at least 6".
Is he really the starter though? I thought that Hardy started in his place for BYU and would have for Stanford if not for the rules violation. And overall, Hardy and Shumate appear to be the guys to beat heading into 2014 with Collinsworth and Farley fading. Add to that the fact that we have Baratti and Redfield, two guys superior in both size and athleticism coming back as well, and it just doesn't leave a lot of room for Collinsworth.

Regarding the height thing, what's the difference between Admiral Robinson and Lieutenant Robinson? 8 inches?

That sounds like the beginning of a dirty joke.

The difference has gotten smaller. Corey looks like he is still growing like his dad did. I wouldn't be shocked if that kid graduates at 6'7.

Does anyone know if its possible to split a scholarship? Example: let's say the staff wanted both Lombard and Collinsworth back, but didn't want to use 2 scholarships. Could they offer each a half scholarship, allowing them to play and get a graduate degree for 1/2 price, while only using one scholarship?

Who is going to be enrolling early in 2014 ?
All winning teams are goal-oriented. Teams like these win consistently because everyone connected with them concentrates on specific objectives. They go about their business with blinders on; nothing will distract themfrom achieving their aims.

IUB, I would think that with depth being what it is and both of these guys being rated as DT, that one or both of Dickerson and Hayes would be at DT/NG.

Also, Hill's primary gift is as a pass rusher. Won't he get a look at OLB first with Sykes, Martini, Yeargin and possibly Morgan at ILB?

I've also heard differing scouting reports on Bonner. Some have said he would be a LB, but at 6'4", 250 lbs already I think I agree with your projection to DE.

    Thoughts?

I don't believe that you can split a FBS level football scholarship. I think they can do something like that at levels below FCS only.
