NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Fighting Irish head coach Brian Kelly spent the beginning of his press conference today talking injuries – who’s in, who’s out, and for how long. When the smoke cleared on that front, and for the second week in a row, the first question he fielded about the offense concerned standout freshman wide receiver Corey Robinson.

“Where he catches the football, obviously, you know his number is outside,” Kelly said after practice today. “He has been extremely consistent in that area of the field. Where we have to continue to work with him is where he breaks inside.”

“He has to get stronger and more physical but there’s no question he can help us on the perimeter,” he continued. “He consistently catches the football and it doesn’t matter who he goes up against. If the ball is put in the right position, he is going to come down with it.”
