I understand that's how it should work, all of that makes complete sense and was my understanding as well ... but it's not working like that for me.

It happened at old FC every now and then, but here it seems more common. I have no idea why certain threads remain bold and others turn to normal font, it's completely random.

It's not really a big deal, just a minor annoyance.

One last thing... using anything that deletes your cookies? What web browser and version?

And just checking on the version it's telling me that my version is "out of date". So I'll give that a try later on and see what happens.

Because you have some sort of browser issue. Rep works fine... in fact, just tested by repping you.

No shit? I'm using SRWare Iron (Chromium source code), you remember, I was touting it in the "Browser Wars" thread I started. I'll try it on some other browsers and see what happens.
