US Army All-Combine Team: Offensive skill players (free)

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The US Army All-American Combine features some of the top underclassman prospects in the country. We break down the All-Combine Team for the offensive skill players. Despite numerous outstanding prospects, only the top 11 offensive skill players were selected.

Robert Foster (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) WR – Did Robert Foster lose a rep during Friday’s one-on-ones? If he did, we didn’t see it. Foster defended his ranking as the top wide receiver in the country for the class of 2013 by precisely and definitively winning all of his one-on-one battles with great route-running, strength and hands.

UCLA offers nation's No. 1 WR (free)

UCLA is the latest program to offer the nation’s top receiver Robert Foster, according to his Monoca (Pa.) Central Valley head coach Mark Lyons.

The Bruins join the likes of Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Virginia and West Virginia in offering the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Foster, who checks in as the country’s No. 11 prospect overall.

Foster has canceled a visit to Notre Dame for this Saturday. He’s previously visited Pittsburgh several times, and he’s also made recent trips to Ohio State and Penn State. According to Lyons, Foster will be back at Pitt on April 5, and as previously reported by 247Sports, he’ll get down to Alabama the weekend of April 13-15. Michigan, Michigan State and West Virginia are three other schools that have been mentioned in the past as possible future visits.

As a junior, Foster did a little bit of everything in helping Central Valley finish 11-1. He caught 37 passes for 584 yards and five touchdowns, including a long of 99. He rushed another 36 times for 419 yards and two scores, including a long of 55. From his safety spot, Foster registered 57 tackles, four interceptions, three pass breakups and a forced fumble.

Last week, Foster accepted an invitation to play in the Under Armour All-America game.

Four-star receiver Robert Foster has stayed out of the spotlight throughout his recruitment, but on Dec. 21 he will go public when he announces his college choice.

Foster, the No. 8 receiver and the No. 70 overall prospect in the nation, will decide between Pitt and Alabama. He took an official visit to Tuscaloosa in late October and visited Pitt two weeks ago.

If Foster selects Pitt, he will be the Panthers' third four-star recruit and the highest-rated recruit in the class. If he goes to Alabama, he will be the 13th four-star recruit in the Tide's class and share a 6.0 Rivals Rating with four other prospects who have committed.

This season Foster, 6'2" 185, caught 45 passes for 763 yards and eight touchdowns and rushed 57 times for 481 yards and 12 touchdowns. He scored two more touchdowns on kick returns, took a punt return in for a score, and returned an interception to the end zone. He averaged almost 30 yards on punt and kick returns, and even averaged 40 yards per punt.

Monaca (Pa.) Central Valley wide receiver Robert Foster makes his announcement on Friday, with little drama involved. Foster is down to Alabama and Pitt, but if he chooses the Tide, it'll be stunning. Since day one, Foster was one of those prospects who was clearly not going to leave home. He has been linked to Pitt from the start, despite the Panthers' recent coaching issues. He enjoyed his Alabama visit quite a bit and rumor has it he was tempted to commit to recruiting coach Mike Groh, but his family wants him close and I think he becomes a huge part of Pitt's class. If Alabama pulls an upset here, the Tide will vault ahead of Notre Dame and USC into the No. 1 slot in the national team rankings. If Pitt lands Foster, it will push past Rutgers for No. 1 in the Big East and would be No. 5 in the ACC, for comparison sake.
