Register to remove this advertisementThanks for clearing that up. So does that mean he could have played in all of the first 4 games and still not lose his eligibility as long he has an injury. I assume you are putting injury in quotes because basically anything that is documented as a Freshman year injury will be accepted by the NCAA as long as you don't play after game 4.

As I understand it, as long as it is a documented injury, the NCAA will rubber stamp it. Slaughter's issue (as I understand it) is that he is attempting to claim that he did not play his freshman year due to a pre-existing injury which is not as black and white, especially since he is applying for a sixth year waiver. Thanks for clearing that up. 12-21-2012, 03:41 AM #94Thanks for clearing that up because I was of the opinion that once you played at any stage during the season you lost your year. Way to work the system BK.As I understand it, as long as it is a documented injury, the NCAA will rubber stamp it. Teams like these win consistently because everyone connected with them concentrates on specific objectives. They go about their business with blinders on; nothing will distract themfrom achieving their aims.
