I thought the same thing. The good news is that if he doesn't work out at kicker, they can convert him to a linebacker.:clown:

well, we're going to need it if we have a 185 long snapper.

Lynch just looks like a baller. They all do, but he has that look to him.

Well after all this craziness this year and waiting for the other shoe to drop, seeing is believing.

    That picture pumps me up!

Brindza - A true leader in helping to recruit this class. Nice buckle. After he almost enrolled last year, I am glad he is finally here. He is living his dream.

Golson - I just feel fortunate we got him. We were not in on him till late. We have QB question marks and he is here early after a quick courtship with the Irish. I know the guys on the back row are really tall, so I am glad Golson doesn't look shorter than he does. I am rooting for Golson to be the guy behind center.

Carrico - Glad to see he is big enough for the O-line. I hope he develops into a good one.

Lynch - He could so easily not be in this picture. It's been a crazy couple weeks for him and seeing that picture is the wonderful end of his crazy recruitment and the beginning of what should be a stellar playing career. I hope we get the privelege of Coach Alford for the duration of at least Aaron's time at ND. That will help ensure Aaron develops in all aspects of his life during his college years. Alford aspires to be a HC, so we'll see.

iShaq - First off, he's as tall as Lynch!!! I was under the impression he was a couple inches shorter. He's a HUGE OLB. I think he will be developed physically differently than Lynch, but an any event, he has me as excited as any recruit in this class. Maybe someday I'll fully understand the significance of chanting his name, or something close to it, through the dirt roads of African villages. I also look forward to full disclosure about Diaco's 4:30 am visit.

LOVE THAT PICTURE. Now take the Christmas tree down. Was that put up by students that are yet to return from break?

I was thinking the same thing, except about Ishaq. Brindza is supposed to be like 6'2", but what surprises me is how small Golson appears to be. They were saying 6' even, but if he's 5'10" it'd be a shock.

Brinza might be sporting some cowboy boots to go with that buckle. If Lynch is 6'6", Golson could be 6'1". Maybe. The back row are some huge dudes.
