    Complete Rivals update is done.

As Irishlaw mentioned all 4 of the previous ND Rivals 100 guys, Hegarty, Hayes, Koyack, and Lynch stayed in the R100, but all 4 dropped 5-7 slots. The only other ND commit in the Rivals 250 remains Eilar Hardy who also stays exactly where he was before at #179. None of the previous 3 stars were bumped up to a 4 star, not even Prestwood. They did finally assign a star ranking to Jalen Brown, but gave him the lowest 3 star rating they have. Brindza was also assigned a rating as a 2 star.

So, overall the only changes in the Rivals star averages for the current ND class was Brown and Brindza being assigned stars. The previous Rivals average star rating for ND was 2.94, now with five 4*, ten 3*, and one 2*, the average moves up to 3.25, still below both Scout & ESPN.

this on hardy from rivals. i didnt post it but i read it today and laughed:

How Do You feel about Eliar Hardy. i see he stayed the same despite participatin in a camp.

We feel good about Hardy, felt he was excellent at OSU nike, which put him in four-star pool, then he solidified that with solid performance at GridIron Kings. Not a lot of movement with top midwest guys. We saw nearly all of them last year during season, multiple times, then at camps this spring. It is time to see what they can do as seniors on the football field!

so despite dominating at two camps, including one in fl, he doesnt move up. but if he wasnt a midwest kid, he would have? i guess those camps are only to promote the southeast...

Try being an ND fan in the heart of SEC country. SEC people believe that football is not played anywhere but in the Southeast. Very egocentric and not very polite about their views of schools outside the SEC. Just ask TN and REV.

Just as a footnote to the Rivals update. In addition to not increasing the star rating on any ND commit (with the exception of actually applying a rating to Brown & Brindza) they also dropped all but 3 of the ND verbals in their position ratings as well. Only Hayes & Rabasa who moved up one slot and Hardy who stayed the same were not downgraded in the position rankings. Brown, Burton, and Farley also remain unranked at their postion. Brindza was assigned the #6 Kicker ranking.

  10. #30
Rivals is about to release their first Team Ranking. As of today ND would be #11 but that could change by the time they actually publish the ranking.
