Not surprisingly Koyack, Hegarty, and Lynch are the only 3 ND verbals who are ranked on all 5 of the recruiting boards that we are monitoring.
Again, thanks for putting all this together IUB!

Lynch made a pretty big jump in the Scout List (previously around 75 I believe) and Koyack is moving closer to around 50 which is where most other sites have him ranked. I still they they are too low on Hegarty and probably too high on Hanratty although I do believe Hanratty should be a 4*

I also believe they are the only site that has Prestwood ranked appropriately and I think the other sites will catch up by the end of the year.

Prestwood would be in the same category as Koyack/Hegarty/Lynch if not for the Rivals ranking of him. He is #65 on Lemming, #87 on Scout, #130 on the AV, and #131 on ESPN, yet Rivals does not list even list him in their top 250 because of the lame excuse that he will be playing a new position this year, a rating rule that they do not apply universally to a lot of other recruits.

ESPN's most recent update almost exclusively dealt with significantly lowering the rankings of the Class of 2011 QB's in the ESPN 150. With the exception of Jerrard Randall every QB in the previous ESPN 150 dropped in the new update. This is pretty much in line with the general consensus that the 2011 class is not going to be a great QB class.[/I]
Just to clarify, ESPN only updated the rankings of recruits. The team rankings are still from June so ND will probably move up once they decide to re-evaluate the teams.

It does not matter who thinks they are good now it matters who KNOWS they are good when they put on an Irish uniform

Thanks. I did not even notice that last night. Based on how ESPN has Lynch, Rabasa and Hayes ranked ND should make a pretty good jump in the Team Rankings when they update it.

Who would have ever thought that ESPN would have us rated higest (based on star ranking). They are the toughest (since they give out the fewest 4 stars) but they definitely like our class and I am very impressed they rated Brindza correctly. Him and Eilar are very close to getting their 4 stars.

Our Scout grade should improve as well once Brindza gets rated on their and same w/ Rivals (for Kyle and Brown). Farrell said the new rankings should be out next week so I expect their ratings should come out then and a few guys to get bumped up to 4 star.

I found this awesome site in its very early stages... svo wrote me about it. I never kept up on recruiting and in the last 2 years I've learned that stars rarely mean anything when they actually hit the field. I've seen to many schools that were low on the recruiting list tear it up on the field. I know there has to be some talent but I think the coaching staff makes or breaks a team. And I think that it is most important that you have spent the majority of your coaching career teaching kids (meaning college) to be the most succesful.
    Goooooooo Irish!!!
