Read this article guys! Autry is an awesome individual! I know his publicist! I just want to equate a personal story about my experience with Autry.

As I was going back to school to get yet another degree, to help pay for books and whatnot, I worked in a very affluent area of Orlando, Tiger Woods lives in the neighborhood, at a convenient store. One of my regulars was a really nice guy that I saw wearing ND gear one day. Trust me it's rare in gutter and criminol land. I struck up a conversation with him and told him I was from South Bend and that I used to usher at the stadium. He asked me if I knew who Autry Denson was. And of course I said heck yeah, all-time leading rusher. Really humble guy. Great player! It was then that he told me that he was Autry's publicist. I said no kidding. He said yes, he was going down to have a meeting with Autry that day. I said to tell him I said hello and that ND Rocks! Which we all know that it does.! So many weeks later, actually about 2 months I think, and several visits to my store later, the publicist comes in and says I have something for you. I said what. He said wait here. I was like, is this guy crazy. So here he comes back in and hands me a shopping bag. I open it and inside is an autographed football and photo of Autry addressed to me personally. I was blown away. Brought tears to my eyes and really made me day, month, and year. The publicist told me that he had told Autry what I had said and that Autry wanted to show me his appreciation for being such a fan. He also related to me that Autry really appreciates when fans know who he is. For some reason, the publicist told me that few people know that he is the all-time leading rusher. What a travesty!!! Yet another reason why, I love Notre Dame so much!

Denson was a beast. Just wish his pro career could have worked out better for him. (geek comment coming) I use to play NCAA Gamebreaker 99 WAAAAY to much. Trip-Option nightmare. I actually still believe to this day, NO ONE was as good as me when I used ND.
