Good grief, that didn't last long. Back down to 15 as Corey Adams decides to go back to kindygarden, er Arizona State.

Updated for the Custis commit and for Buchanan eliminating ND from consideration.

FYI and FWIW. The 4 Rivals "experts" have made predictions on where 6 of the 14 uncommitted guys with ND offers will end up. Here is there consensus choices.

    Marlon Brown- Georgia

    Jelani Jenkins- Florida

    Devon Kennard- USC (unanimous choice)

    Rueben Randle- LSU (unanimous choice)

    Xavier Su'a Filo- BYU

Manti Te'o- BYU (three of the four picked BYU, the fourth guy picked USC)

Marlon Brown was the only one of these guys where at least three of the four experts agreed on his final choice.

The other 8 of the 14 and where the general outside consensus lies:

Jordan Barrett- Rivals still lists Washington as his only other FBS offer. If he didn't jump at Washington when Sarkisian was named head coach, I'm not sure what this kid is thinking. He might also have offers from some lower tier schools and could end up at a place like UNLV. My guess- who cares?

Michael Buchanan- Illinois or Purdue, with Vanderbilt a very long dark horse. My guess- Illinois.

Tyler Gaffney- Stanford has the edge here, but Gaffney is still planning on visiting USC this weekend. My guess- Stanford.

Isaac (Shaft) Holmes- Holmes was thought to be a Rutgers or Maryland recruit, with Maryland most recently in the lead. However, Pitt is making a late charge here and Holmes is supposed to take an official visit there this weekend. My wild guess - based on the maturity level that Shaft has displayed throughout his recruitment I guess he will stay close to home and end up at Rutgers.

Barkevious Mingo- Alabama or LSU, although Mingo seems to like scUM as well and also plans on making his final visit to UConn of all places next weekend. My guess- LSU in the end.

Darren Myles- Also Alabama or LSU, although Myles also insists that Purdue is still in the mix, but he may be just saying that for his Dad's sake. LSU has been the leader here for awhile. My guess- also LSU.

Jawanza Starling- Pending word on how his recently completed three day visit to ND went, FSU and Georgia were the favorites, although the Florida crowd also seem pretty confident about Starling. My guess- Ask me tomorrow.

Frankie Telfort- USC, Florida, and Stanford are his final three, but Stanford is probably in there just for show. My guess- Florida.

My new guess- Ask me on NSD. In other words, I won't guess on this one. ND appears to be still in it.

Back up to 15 as Byron Moore de-commits USC. Also upgrading ND's status with Jawanza Starling. At least we now get to look at three guys solidly in play for the Irish over the last two weeks, Te'o, Starling, and Moore.

Do we know what safety position, FS or SS, the staff is projecting for both Starling and Moore? Just curious.

Moore is a definite FS, Starling is a definite SS. Either one's decision should not affect the other with regard to potential PT down the road.
