Notre Dame is the latest school to offer Los Angeles (Calif.) Hawkins elite wide receiver Jalen Hall (http://247sports.com/Player/Jalen-Hall-76820), a top recruit from the class of 2018.

The Irish join USC, Arizona State, Taylor, Miami, UCLA and many others who have already offered the freshman standout.

"I'm excited," said Hall. "All of my offers are a blessing. I'm so young and can't go anywhere anytime soon, but the fact that Notre Dame wants me and my boys makes me feel good. It lets me know that I'm doing something right and my hard work isn't going unnoticed.

"My goal is to be the No. 1 wide receiver in the country. I work hard to beat that. Also, I want to be the top in my class academically. I do it for my little brothers. I want them to see that I am a good big brother and a good example of what hard work brings."

Hall totaled 52 catches for 1,181 yards and nine touchdowns as a true freshman last year in being named a MaxPreps 2014 Freshman All-American.
USC is the favorite per the 247Sports Crystal Ball.

This is the first freshmen (soon to be sophomore) I can think of Notre Dame ever offering.
