I've seen on a few other message boards that there is possibility of another announcement soon.

I am not sure who the individual would be.

Does anyone have any insight as to who it could be?


By the way, i am very excited about the commitment of Calabrese. This gives us a solid Mike linebacker who can intimidate. Hopefully one of 4 linebackers in this class. With the possible loss of Nagel we will need to bring depth to the middle of our linebacker core.

they seem to be hinting at dan fox....which would make some sense in that he seems to be a heavy nd lean yet i believe he is taking a trip to nd in june, which is probably when he would commit.

You never really know. But alot of times it's people trying to make it look like they have some info. You get pretty reliable info here. And we do have a poster or two who usually are dead on. I'm sure folks will keep checkin and update if anything comes of this.

In the days before GH, I was a loyal uhnd poster. When "Big news is afoot" that is a pretty relaible source that has inside info about an upconing verbal. I have not gone over today to see what's up, just sayin' that when I saw the title of this thread, I knew exactly what it meant. Hopefully it's legit and of the 4 or 5 star variety.

Personally, I think Hammer is hilarious, and he knows his stuff. Many detest him for being a jackass often times. Pretty much every message board has run him out because he is too crude for some. That is why he started his own site. There are still many who enjoy him at uhnd so word will travel there quickly.

Grandson, I respect your opinion, but this Hammer guy has, in the past, posted anti-semitic comments on UHND that I found to be highly offensive. In fact, I believe he was banned from that site at least once for that reason.

Second, I've seen him post the "big news is afoot" thing before, on more than one occasion, and nothing has come of it.

A lot of people post big news being afoot on uhnd, and with most of them it's usually BS. I find when Irishhammer posts it, it almost always comes to fruition. I agree with those who believe he has inside info.

I remember hearing that Fox was going to camp at ND in June to try and impress the coches and earn an offer. But once he received an offer he canceled his June camp plans.

He was going to try and earn an offer at the ND camp, this is true. At this time, I think he isn't sure if he is still coming to the camp or not. I don't believe he has made a decision yet.

It sounds like the Cam wanted to play for a coach staff with a BCS NC win under its belt. SOooo the big move was to TRY to get Urban Meyer but that broke down somewhere, no one knows which side. BUT expect to hear the day before NSD that Bob Stoops will be joining the staff. Since the coaching staff was already filled Stoops will fill in as a Graduate Assistant until a full position opens up (this may be what held up Meyer from coming). Stoops is really impressed with what BK is doing for this to happen, and he can't wait to beat USC.

Anyone can make a statement like this and be right at some point. I have been a notre dame fan since I can remember and don't know if because I'm getting older or what I just get more intrigued by recruiting. Must be telling myself to get a life. I played football for a small college, bad choice could have played bigger show but didn't like the bench idea, just remember waiting to hear notre dame scores while I was still playing during my game. 36 years old now

GH is a good place to read if you want to cut back on BS. Other boards tend to have more activity with occasional connections to a recruit as a result. They also supply much more fluff rumors and opinions/guesses.

Get a Gold Club membership here for what I consider the most straight forward and honest info. If you are starving for more action you can lurk or post on the other boards as I do here and there.
