This would be a great day to be Irish after Slaughter's commitment.there are rumors floating around to that effect, that johnson committed while at camp. however, they are just that for now, rumors. further, there isn't a whole lot of substance to them. so it may or may not be true. stay tuned.

I'm not sure of the specific rules here, but apparently while Johnson was at camp, recruiting is a no no, but that apparently applies only to the time when he is actually working out at camp facilities, because he was supposed to have had dinner with CB last night. He has now left the ND campus to go visit relatives in Ontario and take a vacation. There is no confirmation that he gave his committment to CW before he left. That is why the recruiting guys are frantically trying to contact him, because since around 10 PM last night they had all pretty much assumed that EJ would be the announcement today, not Slaughter.

We are now hearing from many farts in the wind that EJ is still on the ND campus. If it's true, that is nothing but good news. There is also now news that the e-man has posted that Ethan Johnson was in fact the recruit who stood up in class yesterday and said that he had committed to ND. e-man also correctly predicted last night that Slaughter would commit this morning, so this news is nothing to sneeze at. Anybody dizzy yet? Stay tuned.

Hale, no...but there are plenty of rumors surrounding some other major recruits. Something may happen soon, or nothing. We are playing the waiting game.

There has been rumors on multiple sites about multiple kids. Ethan Johnson, Shayne Hale, Micheal Floyd and even Dan McCarthy have all been rumored to either been on visits, visiting, or even commited. I think you can get excited, but by no means think we have all or any of these kids commited right now. IN recruiting you can never be sure.
