Scout has finally broken down & come up with a ranking beyond their Top 100. The Scout 300 includes everyone that they consider to be a 5 star and a 4 star.

11 of our 15 commitments are on that list.

Getting close to ESPN, who has 12 of 15 the equivalent of a 4 star, with Goodman yet to be evaluated. I also like that they actually assign a number from 101-300, whereas Rivals does not. When Rivals sees this, you might see them follow suit, because they can easily do it with their RR ratings. For comparative and consensus purposes it would be a lot easier if they all ranked at least their Top 250.

I know we could do this all day, but you can't tell me that Omar Hunter isn't one of the top 200 players in the nation.

Not me, that's for sure, but to be fair in this case, which when it comes to Scout you will not hear me say often, Hunter is coming off of an injury. Scout did at least bring him up to a 4 star, and if he performs as expected in the Fall, he may end up cracking more than just their Top 200.

To a certain extent the same can be said of Poz, who at one point was on the Rivals 100 Watch List for 2008. When all is said and done all 15 of the current ND recruits could end up in the Scout 300. Yes, even Golic.

Yep, Golic is my CT home boy, Hafis is yours. We'll keep on talking both of them up until they are both in the Top 100 of Rivals & Scout.:)
Seriously though I am going to catch a few of Golic's games this fall at Northwest Catholic. It's CT, so the competiton is not great, but they do play a couple of tough teams so I'll get a chance to see how he stands out. Too bad they don't play Fairfield, I could see how he would do against Kabongo.

-----It's nice to see that Scout has stopped drinking the Kabongo Kool-Aid and downgraded him to a 3 star instead of the 5th or something best DT in the country.
