With Craig Loston not even considering ND, the Irish waste no time in getting a second offer out to a Texas Safety, Terrance Bullitt.
Terrance’s brother being an NFL Safety for the Colts has the added benefit of being a close by place that Terrance often visits, and also has the Polian connection as well. For that reason there is a good chance that Bullitt will visit ND on both an unofficial visit before the season begins, and on an Official Visit during the season. In addition to ND, Terrance also holds offers from Arizona, Kansas, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin.

Your team is 2-0 this season after winning just three games last year. Do you think you're surprising some people?
I knew during the spring that we would have a good team this year, especially our defense. Everybody on our defense can run to the ball and they know what they're doing. In a lot of magazines they projected us to finish last in our district or second to last. We never get any respect. But after this year, I think we should get a lot more.
Maybe it's your mascot, the Rangers. Outside of Yogi Bear, not many people are afraid of a Forest Ranger.
They should fear the Ranger.
Your older brother, Melvin, plays for the Indianapolis Colts, but your father, Jerry, played for the Washington Redskins. Are you a fan of either team?
Actually, I was an Atlanta fan. But now I'm a Colts fan because Mel plays there.
Do your father and brother give you a lot of football advice?
They do. All the time. Mainly Melvin, though. He tells me to run to the ball and to keep my head up when I tackle.
How do you compare to your brother as a football player?
I'm a lot taller and bigger than him when he was my age, but I think we play similar. I looked at his high school film and looked at our motions and everything. I think I'm a better tackler than he was.
Your dad and brother both played at Texas A&M. Does that mean you'll be an Aggie?
I don't know. I've got to get a scholarship from somewhere first. But I do like A&M a lot. I'm getting a lot of letters from A&M and Oklahoma State, and I like both of them. Also, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Louisville.
Your uncle, Steve, also played for A&M, but he's now in the Secret Service. Has he told you any stories about protecting the president?
Not really. I know there are some stories he couldn't tell. I used to look on TV and I'd see him with the president sometimes.

One school he is sure about is Notre Dame. "They have great tradition," he said. "They are a winning program that is on its way back. They always get the top players and I like the coaches too," he said. "I've spoken with coach Charlie Weis and coach Rob Ianello and a few other assistants and they told me that I'd be a great fit for their defense."

Far be it from me to know what the Oklahoma coaches do, but they already have commitments from two safeties and one CB. Hey may be on the outside of Oklahoma simply by operation of numbers.
On the other hand, ND has no commitments at CB/S as of yet. He would get the red carpet treatment if he were to pursue ND.

Both of the schools he likes, Oklahoma and A&M, both look to have numbers at his position. That said, I like Myles over Bullitt and I like Ray Ray the best.

If any of the 3 would hurry and sign, maybe we'd get another scramble to be the 2nd signee by the others.

Good news per Rivals. Told the Texas Tech writer he's taking 3 officals with one of them definitely to ND. Bad news would only be that it appears he's going to take him time.

Texas Tech now leads solidly over Oklahoma State and Notre Dame with Arizona and Wisconsin rounding out his top five. "It's really between Tech and Oklahoma State and Notre Dame," Bullitt admitted. "Even if I commit early, I still plan on taking official visits to Oklahoma State and Notre Dame."

so he has committed early and i guess he'll take an official to ND and Oklahoma State? Hopefully he makes it to ND and maybe the electricity on campus will sway him our way.

Latest from Terrance, at least today, is that he will only visit Texas Tech.
