I am going to head out and purchase a football book soon. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, whether it be Irish, college, or NFL related.

No Excuses, Charlie Weis. Or just join the Gold Club. ;)

I'd strongly recommend "The Golden Dream" by Gerry Faust. Strongly.

I'm still trying to get someone to read this book, and tell me how they like it. LOL

The book, penned by disbarred attorney Shannon Ragland, delves into the shocking season overseen by former Bear Bryant assistant Bradshaw. He writes about abusive coaches, sadistic practice drills, and even sex scandals.

it's such a good book. Lou is just a fascinating guy. His motivational speeches are even better! - U won't be disappointed.

Oh, there's also another book called the Notre Dame Bible or the Saturday Bible or something like that. It's a collection of peoples stories related to ND football experiences. I liked that one too.
