Lane has offers from Clemson, Kentucky, Indiana, Minnesota, Mississippi State, and Central Florida. He is originally from Oakland, CA, and has lived in Georgia since 2000. Braxton has an interest in ND because of a family connection, his father is a long time friend of former ND football player Braxston Banks.
Braxton also comes from a long line of football players. His Grandfather played and coached at Utah State, his uncle, MacArthur Lane was an NFL running back, Pro-Bowler, and first round draft pick out of Utah State. His father played at Oregon State, and his cousin Eric Lane was a NFL Running Back with the Seattle Seahawks.
His 4.31 40 time and 37 inch vertical is from a recent Scout combine so it is legit.

Cave was named after him also.....I think our staff wants a shifty slot WR in this class since we got all guys over 6'3 last haul.

Kid should be alright if he's anything like the last receiver to come out of Sandy Creek High School, some guy by the name of Calvin Johnson.

Calvin wasn't that good, his stats were purely the result of an incredible college QB, Mr. Reggie Ball (just kidding).
I will be curious to see if there is serious interest. I know UGA has limited spots this year and with GT's new offense scaring off many WR prospects, there might not be very stong in state competition. With his speed, GT would probably go after him, but they are having trouble selling the offense to WR's that think the NFL in their future.

Is every kid in the US named Braxton named after Braxton Banks?!?
What a burner!!!! 4.31 40 time.....sweet.....we sure could use speed like that!!!
While I bet the kid is really fast, I rarely believe in all these low 4.3 times. If that was really his time, the kid would be a world class sprinter.
