From TSN (http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=360543)

"Reggie Bush failed to show up for a scheduled deposition on Monday, the latest twist in the civil lawsuit against the former Heisman Trophy winner who allegedly accepted cash and gifts from sports marketers during his sophomore and junior seasons at Southern California."

His attorneys filed a motion with the court asking that testimony of his and his parents be concealed from the NCAA and media.

“It’s so that we can’t share the transcripts with the NCAA, which is a huge admission of guilt,” said Lake’s attorney, Brian Watkins. “Reggie Bush has repeatedly said that he has nothing to hide, and now that he has to testify under oath, he’s saying he doesn’t want what he says shared with the NCAA. Now all of the sudden it’s ‘Hey I’m going to have to admit to some things and I don’t want them out there.’

I know that nothing will happpen with the NCAA but I really, really want Bush nailed on this. Sounds to me that Lake wants to put the screws to Bush. No pun intended.

Missing a deposition is not the same thing as missing a court date. Unless he was subpoenaed, it's not a big deal that he missed a scheduled deposition.

all i needed to know about the whooole Reggie Bush saga is contaiined on the tapes that Lake had of Reggies father that were aired on Real Sports on HBO.
An admission of guilt in any court of public opinion. Now in the "real" courts, criminal, civil or otherwse i defer to the counselors here at GH.

Bush and Britney have the same court room demeanor......that is, go there, then leave before entering.

With these clowns, I'm actually surprised they wrote down the date of the depo and remembered there was supposed to be one. This whole entire thing is a farce.

do you have to subpoena parties to compel their attendance at a deposition? here in california, a notice of taking deposition is all that is needed to compel a party's attendance.
