I agree. He must be the ONLY player at UF that has any class. He doesn't offset the plethora of thugs & felons on that squad, but he appears to be a sincere, humble kid who puts Christ first in all that he does. I got no problem w/ that.

I think Tebow's probably the only athlete at Florida who puts God ahead of football.

I was just stunned by what his priorities are:

1.) God
2.) Family
3.) Academics
4.) Football

I think it's refreshing to see someone who's so open about his faith and is not afraid to voice it.

Yeah, I agree NDfan. You could tell that he was very nervous during his acceptance speech. I know I gained more respect for Tebow after listening to him. To bad Urbie can't recruit more athletes like him.

I have a hard time getting past that Gator helmet to see Tebow as anything but a Gator player. That being said, he seemed sincere and I am happy for him. I still think McFadden deserved it more, but thats just my opinion.

I thought McFadden should have won it after the LSU game. Looking at Tebow's numbers, he deserved to win it.
