Does anyone else root solely for Mizzou because they like to see tOSU complain about getting screwed (along with just being the underdog). Ultimately, I love the irony of how last season the team that kept saying 11-0, who cares about SOS, we beat every team regardless of 'quality wins' or margin of victory. Now every OSU friend of mine is screaming about the strength of West Virginia's or Mizzouri's conference schedule compared to the Big 10. When they were 9-0, the arrogance of beating Youngstown State or Akron was "so what" we're 9-0. Now all I hear is the weak non-conference games or the quality of the loss to South Florida or Oklahoma compared to Illinois. Or the WVa / Mizzou hasn't beaten anyone arguments. Nothing helps more then that Missouri - Illinois game back in September.

Go Mizzou!

Anything to stick it to ohhowihateohiostate.
Plus I like rooting for the underdog, in this case I'm saying that's Mizzou since they entered the season unranked.

been rooting for WVU all year...just a fun team to watch, so ill stick with the scenarios that play out in their favor.
love to see them vs Mizzou in the final game, as i saw the KU-Mizzou game and it was also pretty exciting and fun to watch.
a Big 12, Big East NC game with Mizzou and WVU would be some nice humble pie for all the SEC, Big Ten, Pac-10 bitches to choke on.

Seriously, if anyone on GH (besides napoleonbuck) says they would prefer to see OSU over Mizzou in the NC game, I will have Stony send a cyber lightning bolt to their PC.

The best part about a Mizzou/WVU NC game will be that it should finally be enough to dismantle the current BCS system. They are not even starting to cry yet, but as the reality of this match-up gets closer, the SEC and the PAC 10 will be screaming so loudly about the unfairness of the system that it might finally smash it to pieces. This is an even worse match-up than the potential OSU/BC one that we were looking at just a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I see Mizzou losing to Oklahoma next week which will give OSU a backdoor ticket to the NC game, and even though OSU has played just as pathetic a schedule as Mizzou has, an OSU/WVU NC game will not cause enough of an uproar to change the system.

I don't agree IUB. I think no matter which of these three teams play thepac-10 and sec will be crying up a storm over the bcs. Their is not one coach, player, or administrator in the sec who thinks any of the three would be better than a .500 team in their conference. And seeing how well the pac-10 does in hiring replay officials I'm sure they feel the same way. We also have to remember that these conferences are going to have over a month to build up anger before the game is even played. And if the ratings are bad for the Nat'l championship game then it would all start all over agian.

only NC on my mind now is the mythical recruiting NC that CW and Corwin need to win over the next 3 months.

and during the first Q next year, they need to get that 09 class going like the 08 class did as well.

Without a doubt Mizzu. I want to see Petey have his way with with the vest in the Rose Bowl. It'll be funny watching the same team beat the roideyes 3 times in 2 years.
