Update on their success and commitment status. They seem to be very solid.

Sounds like most of the guys are having good-great SR. years. Can't wait to see the impact they have as FR., especially on the Def. side of the ball. Putting Hunter in the middle and being able to move Kuntz outside should help along the Def. line.

I have to admit fellas....I cant get a secure feeling about these commits til they sign on the dotted line.

domehead, their have been a few articles posted about your concerns. One is on Jamouris Slaughter profile. In which he states that both Huntr and Fleming who he talks to reguraly are very much coming to S.B. Also the usa today had an article about N.D. last week and quoted Mike Golic who said his son text messages with the other commits and not one has said he was leaning away from N.D. I believe these kids were told by Charlie not to commit and less they were 1000% N.D. And that they understood what he was asking from them before they commited. I say no one drops of this list.

I read the articles and am hoping that they stick to their word....I guess if they dont, then we dont really want them anyway.

I think it shows them that with some hard work, many could contribute right away and get significant playing time. Playing time is huge to frosh/sophs, with winning and personal awards coming later. With our young players, and the incoming recruits....that can all happen.

Due to the fact that such a large portion of our current commits are on the defensive side of the ball, I'm not as worried about kids decommiting. Given how bad our offense has looked, I'd be more worried if the majority of our recruits were on the offensive side of the ball.

With that said, I'm more concerned about getting the stud WR and RB and OL that we need to complete this class.

We need to get after some OL and WR pretty quickly. Our current offers don't look so hot at this point. A real solid WR w/ some speed could immediately compete for some playing time.

A 5* WR needn't worry about competing..playing time is 100% assured. Big offensive linemen needn't worry either...anybody have any doubt they too will play as freshmen. An almost unheard of phenomena in college football today. We need 2 WR, 2OL and 1 RB. Now lets go get them.

I agree with that 52. Plus another LB would be nice.

I would like another RB (Williams perferablly, if not then Thomas), 1-2 WR's (Floyd, Baldwin, Wakler and possibly Harper, any 2 of those), 1 OL (hopefully Trevor Robinson but I think that ship is sailing. Maybe Page will be the addition, if not him then lets start offering others.), Possibly 1 more LB but not sure who it would be they might have to offer a sleeper or project type of kid. With Rueland and Jones leaving we can basiaclly taake a full class but if they take less that's ok because the class after that will be tiny.
