Arena talks stalled, so Pens eye move
The Penguins moved a step closer to leaving Pittsburgh, declaring an impasse Monday in their new arena negotiations with state and local leaders and saying they actively will pursue relocation. the governor, wants to stop the team from moving , trying to blockit via the league.

I've following this painful saga for about 4 months, at this point it is 50/50....
A lot of experts think the recent impasse declared by the Pens is a negotiating ploy. They are sick of dealing with the politicians, who had promised them a new arena 8 years ago and have never came through. There is a tentative meeting to be held with all parties on Thursday. Bettman will be at that meeting to bring the negotiations to fruition, one way or the other.
If the Pens leave i will be sick.

The pens have serious sentamental value for me I can not belive they cant come to an agreement . lol what am I thinking its all about the money

damn that sucks I heard the KC thing but no matter where they move Ill will be pretty upset

If they move this would be twice in my lifetime that my fav. team in one of the four major sports left town just as a championship team was being built... I don't care to relive that... sux hard

Today is pretty much D-day for the Pens. all the parties are getting together, including Bettman, we should pretty much know where the pens will be by tonight.
I'm rediculously anxious today.

If they move, I hope they keep the Pens moniker in Pittsburgh. I hate when teams move with their moniker and it makes no sense like the Utah Jazz, etc.
