with the total lack of depth kentucky has the irish should just pound the inside and see if we can get Josh Harrelson or Terrance Jones to foul out ND should be able to dominate the inside. Contesting the 3 pointers and containing Kentucky's speed will be tough but there are opportunities.

nd can't buy a bucket in the second half. i'm sure c. scott never wants to play with the "rock" every again.

game observations :
1. ben hansbrough tried to do to much with his passes instead of just passing the ball.
2. free throws down the stretch. 1-6 is not going to get it done.
3. we cannot shoot the "rock" to save our lives (hope they don't have to use it again this year).
4. missed to many easy baskets around the rim.
5. abro didn't show up.
6. seemed refs started to get swayed a little bit by the crowd and cal (slimeball)
7. kentucky's three freshman sure like to chuck the ball.
8. lots of players shuffling feet before dribbling that weren't called (hope ncaa doesn't turn into nba).
9. kentucky is erractic. can't believe nd lost as bad as they did.
10. need to bounce back and take care of zaga.

there was a 10 minute stretch in the 1st half that ND looked like a legitimate top 25 team. if they can find a way to play like that for 40 minutes, they'll be able to play with anyone. lots of good hustle plays on the offensive glass against a team that has superior athleticism compared to ND.
i agree, abro was completely absent during the game. and our bigs need to put the point blank shots in the basket. especially frustrating when they had a few opportunities to end the field goal drought at the beginning of the second half.
they need to get a solid win vs. a zags team that is down from years past. that should give ND some good cred come selection sunday.
