I haven't said much about my cancer treatment but I've come a long way so I thought I'd fill you guys in. I'm finished with both my radiation and chemotheropy,,, I had my first pet scan and there was no signs of cancer...yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!! I will have to have a pet scan every three months for 3 years then once a year... I came close to hanging out with the gipper and rockne but God has more for me to do.... I have a heck of a testemony to share with everyone now that's for sure.... thanks for all your prayers...you are all dear to my heart.....:neo::clover::friends::worship:

Ron, I did not think I would be seeing you post news that positive. Dude, you were down for the count. That gives hope to many people. I pray you continue to keep cancer at bay. So happy to hear your news.

I came across this while going through my personal info and thought I"d update it. I had my I V port removed and my feeding tube removed... little tip... don't get a feeding tube they remove it by pulling it out and they don't put you under and you feel it and let me tell you it hurts like all hell... I did a lot of screaming on that one. I get my traque out in october and then I'll atleast appear normal... lol I've never been all that normal anyway. I"m gaining weight again so that is a good sign. I lost 69 lbs. during this fight. Now that I'm getting better family members are telling me what they really thought. Most that saw me didn't think I'd survive. They all said I looked like walking death... Guys it trully was tough but we are all capable of fighting hard and even more so when your life is on the line... Don't think for a second that giving up didn't cross my mind but I had a circle of people that lifted me up and helped me keep going. I had a website I could go to where all the folks there gave me positive feedback... I am most grateful to all of you at GH... and I had a lord and savior that whispered in my ear that I could make it, I could defeat this evil thing that had come against me. Last year for the first time that I could remember I didn't give a crap how ND did and that was a good thing cause that's how we played. I'm almost completely back and this season its on. And I switched from a six shooter to a fully auto fifty bullet clip. It is time for there to be more than talk about ND's return to the elite and actually do it. I am fed up with being loaded with talent and it not show on the field... Now is the time!! they need to start putting fear back in their adversaries... all need to know if you are going to play Notre Dame you are in for major battle. We need some blow away games and get into these young men that they are good. Good enough to beat anyone in the country. Now is that time!!!
