It was awesome to see Manti make a big play at the end of the game. I jumped up and was like Hell yeah, He will develop so nicely into this position. His Instincts are great. He did miss a tackle earlier that would have been a great stop. He was there and sniffed the play out, but did not make the tackle. All and All this is an exciting young player.

Yeah it was officially for a 12 yard loss. With his previous numbers I think that puts him at a TFL every 3rd tackls

When you have a player that can is quick enough to get around the field and strong enough to tackle people with his arms, he needs to play. His arm tackles are better tackles than half the this teams defense coming up making a solid hit.

I'm probably not linking this you tube clip properly but it is the scene I think of from "The Program" when I think of what they should be doing with Manti everyday!! If knowing the D is the issue then get him in the film room with Mack.

Of course instead of saying "Hit him so hard his gf dies" Manti will say "Hit him so hard his gf won't have to consider premarital sex!" or instead of kill everyone "bless everyone".

I just listened to Charlies's press conference, he said Manti will be on the field more from here on out.
