View Full Version : Something Doesn't Smell Right in Lincoln

First there is the news of Trevor Robinson planning trips to South Bend & Ann Arbor.
Now there is a rumor that another Husker OL commit, Bryce Givens, is looking at possibly de-committing and is possibly already on his way to see Urban, as well as being interested in Texas.
Add to that the fact that Will Compton who was widely expected to commit to Nebraska after not getting an offer from ND, has instead decided to wait it out and take all of his Official Visits in the Fall, that is unless he gets an ND offer. Compton's position may have more to do with maintaining hope that he can still get an ND offer than any actual problems in Lincoln, but nontheless it adds to some more bad news for the Huskers.
What is the problem? It could be Callahan's recruitment of JUCO's. The last 3 Husker commits are all JUCO's and 4 of the total 14 commits are JUCO's. They already had 4 highly rated High School OL's on board when they picked up their last recruit, a JUCO OL. It could be that or it could be something else altogether like a simple disenchantment with the coaching staff. We are likely to find out if dominoes start to fall off the Nebraska commit list, hopefully starting with Trev Robinson to ND.:D

Callahan is an idiot. He may be a great coordinator, but as a head coach he sucks. If you are coaching in the Super Bowl against your former boss, one year after he leaves, you change up your offense so that they don't know every play you are gonna run. Plus, Timmy would have had a ring to go along with his Heisman if it weren't for him.

I love to see the Red sea of Nebraska turn to a pink puddle of shame

Forget Lincoln, have you ever been to Peoria or Jersey??

Calahan is just about the most unethical coach ever. The Texas Nebraska game was down to the wire and Neb was winning with about 30 seconds while Texas was driving and a neb safety intercepted 1 in the endzone that was a questionable catch. But instead of texas challenging it, Calahan challenges the interception that would have ended the game. the play is overturned and texas kicks a field goal to win....talk about wierd.

Oh no, don't go starting on Joisey. You'll have our beloved ND23/IK1023 combo coming after you. Plus Hafis Williams & CW.
Actually if you stay off the NJTPKE around Newark & Elizabeth, the rest of Jersey ain't half bad, especially the NW & the shore below AC, where it's mostly Philly people. Uh oh, there going to be after me too now.:D

My ex lives in Rahway. I use to literally CRINGE going down there. One time, I go
"Baby, Jersey smells like S%$^!"
She laughed and says...
"Jersey doesn't smell like S@#%, It smells like HOME!"
She was/is a nut.

Done both; prefer the shore. More relaxing, although there's also more trash...haha.
That said, on a side note, I ate dinner last friday at the table next to your current governor in hoboken.
OK - back to thread topic - do we know the date that he will be visiting?
And speaking of numbers, I still feel that if you have a strong O-Line it magnifies the abilities that the skill position guys. I guess what I'm getting at is that I wouldn't mind 2 O-Line commits vs 1 and a RB (of which we seem to have a plethora).
