On B&G it says we may be getting another place kicker and mentions R.C.by name. I check out his scout profile and it says he might have the strongest leg in the whole class. Anyone have more info? Is he going to be on scholarship or recruited walk-on?

That makes little sense to me, when we went so outwardly after the 2 kickers in the spring. With all these schollies out now for kickers, are they still not done?
If this is the kid from Col. he is also an all-state lacrosse player. I think he is looking to play both. Looking at ND and the Ivies. If he came to ND, it would most likely on a lax scholarship and football walkon.

That would be nice, but unfortunately it is also impossible. I'm not sure on the exact wording on the rule on scholarship use, however I do know that a student-athlete playing football has their scholarship count against football. I think it has something to do with football being a Fall sport (meaning it comes first).
If this guy is coming to ND, he's either going to be a walk-on, or we'll have four kickers on scholarship next season.
