We took our team to UCLA this weekend for the Addidas 7 on 7 tournament that is a national wide circut including a tourny at ND earlier this summer. Anyways we won going 8-0 and Ryan was the MVP absolutley dominating the competition against some very good teams. We also got to go against Crespi so I saw Joesph Fauria and he was solid, so strong getting off press with shear power, and was so tall made some nice catches on some high passes. Although I'm a homer for ND guys Deehan is a much better Reciever right now then Fauria and it might not be close, However Fauria makes RYan (6'5) look short and he is likley a better blocker then Ryan. That being said I think Fauria is a stud and if Deehan's ranking doesn't go up eventually I will be shocked as he outplayed Fauria this weekend and in a prior passing tournament he outplayed Blake Ayles

This is an article about the first day of the camp but Ryan was even better the second day.

I suspect that Fauria will be needed for blocking and Ragone/Rudolph will be more in tune with receiving duty. Just a guess though.

Just an update for some of you, Ryan did real well again at the National Addidas tourney, but every team we played bracketed him a ton and doubled him all game. We went 2-2 and lost to Crespi (Fauria's team) and a team from Miami. Deehan still got his and made some great catches and looked fast pulling away from DB's a couple times.

Tough competition will only make him a beast. Any talk or interest in new schools? 'Zona the whole way?
