It was 2 1/2 years ago, but Tom Lemming vividly remembers the bullets that were flying. Specifically, he remembers that many of them were aimed directly at the Golden Dome.
Tyrone Willingham was out as Notre Dame's football coach, and the school had turned to one of its own to resurrect the program, albeit a coach who had been away from college football since Ronald Reagan's time in the White House was winding down, and whose only head coaching experience was one year at the high school level.
